Academics are very important to the success of our students. We take pride in challenging our students to their academic peaks. We also believe in providing you with the tools for success.

The University Tutoring Center has partnered with Tutor.com to provide academic support to all PVAMU students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Online tutoring is available for almost all of the University's courses. Students can get tutoring help through their student portal and should be able to connect with a tutor in less than 30 seconds. Online tutoring is completely free. A total of 500 minutes of online tutoring time is granted to each PVAMU student. By calling the University Tutoring Center, you can request more minutes.

There is a belief in not just teaching but giving tools for the students to apply what they learn here at PVAMU. This success pushes our students towards academic excellence and one day eventually getting your Degree and entering your perspective fields.
